Our English Department explores literature that exemplifies the multitudinous complexities of the human experience. We are devoted to helping students harness their biblical, ethical, and cultural awareness and agency through rigorous discourse, writing, and literary analysis.

Students can expect to investigate works that range from prose to poetry, nonfiction to fiction, contemporary to classics, as well as scripture.
